Flowerbet

I took part in the 2021 ‘36 Days of Type’ challenge, a yearly opportunity for designers to create their own alphabet and set of numbers in any creative way they choose. The challenge is to post one character per day for 36 consecutive days.

I thought this would be a good opportunity to start a new project and to explore drawing retro inspired flowers with a limited colour palette. By the time the numbers came around, I had started to experiment with animating them - see some examples below.
