Flowerbet
An illustrated floral alphabet for the 36 Days of Type challenge (RIP). Creating something everyday was very rewarding and as I went on, I got even more invested, so I started to play with some animation.

My entry for Editfest: Make a 1 minute opening sequence for a film using any stock footage from Filmsupply and a music track from a provided list.
I wanted to experiment with the idea of a Sci-Fi film where people were trying to colonize beautiful flowers and other botanicals in an undisclosed space station.
I made some HUD elements in After Effects to tie in some of those themes with the stock footage.
Photography for Bloom Sheffield CIC
I took a series of photographs capturing the Kokodama workshop for Bloom. Bloom is wonderful organisation with a community flower garden for women and non-binary people in Sheffield.
Kokodama is a traditional Japanese technique in which you wrap the root ball of your plant with moss and shape into ball so you can hang it in your home - no pot neccessary!
Pub Scrawl
A fantastic art crawl set up by Pete McKee and championing artisits around the city, including a beer along the way.
I was one of 3 camera ops, assigned 3 artists each. This included interviewing, capturing set up and audience reactions over the course of 1 day.
I filmed Jo Peel, Jonathan Wilkinson and James Green as well as capturing vox pops.
